It is believed that the adherent to Ramadan is purified through the cleansing fire in their belly that occurs during the fasting. Ramadan is a time of fasting not only from food, water, and sex but also from gossiping,
lying, etc. It is a time to increase spiritual practice and awareness of the Divine in daily life. It is a time for reflection, revelation, revolution, and restoration. A rededication of one’s life to Spirit and recommitment to spiritual practice. When talking about prayer treatment we often refer to the “fire” necessary to bring about the demonstration. We are made of the Divine, so we are always connected to the Divine. We can never be
disconnected from the Divine and, therefore, from our Divine Purpose. Our simple being, our existence, is proof that we are here to do our good – proof that we are here to bring our gifts to the world.
