It’s a New Day

The past doesn’t define you. Now is the time to apply the lessons learned and put our teaching into practice. We are the heroes that the world has been seeking.

On this new day, I believe that anything is possible!

Sundays Topic: This week, we honour the birth and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This person served as a representation of a cultural movement towards equality, freedom and justice for all. Though Dr. King’s impact is revered, he was a controversial figure in his time. As we experience a new dawning, let’s celebrate and honour the people in our own communities who are advocating for equality, freedom and justice for all. Our modern-day heroes are likely being met with contempt, just as Dr. King did. This is our opportunity to greet this new era with love, financial support, time, and talent towards the people and organizations that are contributing to our collective awakening. It’s a new day and history has its eyes on us.
