Being the Peace

Five Steps to being the peace you desire to see in the world.

1. Stop and focus on how you are feeling right now. (i.e. happy, sad, tired, curious etc). Now take time out. It’s a bit like pressing the pause button. Take this feeling and put it off to the side for a few minutes, knowing that you can pick it up once you are done your exercise. 
2. Choose to make a sincere effort to shift you thinking and awareness from your racing thoughts to you heart center. Imagine that you are breathing through your heart. This will help to bring your focus and energy to your heart area. Keep your focus on your heart breathing for ten seconds or more. 
3. Use your imagination to recall a positive feeling, perhaps a fun time or a really happy experience you have had in life. Now attempt to re-experience it. 
4. Now ask your heart, using your intuition, common sense and feelings to show you what it feels like to be peace. This allows for your inner knowing to increase your own ability to bring to your awareness to what peace really feels like for you. 
5. Listen to what you heart says in answer to your question. Allow the feelings and ideas to gently emerge. 
Now stay with this feeling for 3 minutes and 48 seconds.
