Many of us learned early in life to limit our emotions—being told not to be too sad\, too upset\, or even too joyful. Over time\, this conditioning narrows our emotional range. Anger is one of the emotions most often suppressed\, leaving many people unsure how to express it in healthy ways or distinguish between anger that serves and anger that harms. \nAnger that serves is like a flame: it moves energy forward\, brings clarity\, and dissipates once it is acknowledged. Toxic anger is different. It settles in the body\, cycling without release\, and no amount of expression seems to relieve it. In truth\, toxic anger isn’t anger at all—it is unresolved grief\, built from unexpressed feelings and unmet needs\, both personal and inherited. \nWhen individuals and communities are denied space to grieve\, this grief accumulates.
