That truth invites you to hold the body as sacred\, not incidental. \nYou are a deeply material being. Bearing the image of God is not only spiritual; it is physical too. You may have heard the phrase\, “You are a soul who has a body\,” and while it sounds comforting\, it can quietly teach you to neglect the body in pursuit of something “higher.” Many spiritual traditions have focused so much on heaven that they’ve treated the physical world as something to escape. \nBut what if holiness lives right here?
